Windrush 75: The Lewisham Story

Windrush 75: The Lewisham Story

HMT Empire Windrush arrived at Tilbury Docks in June 1948, carrying passengers from the Caribbean. It’s a moment that helped define modern Britain. This year marks its 75th anniversary. To commemorate, we’re hosting a special one-off event.

Join us for a fantastic evening of performance – expect live music, spoken word, dance and more – as we honour the incredible contributions of the Windrush Generation and their descendants in Lewisham and beyond.

Hosted by Robbie Gee and Eddie Nestor.

Co-produced by Windrush Foundation and Nouveau Riche in partnership with Broadway Theatre.

Free tickets are available for over-65s on our website or you can collect them from Catford Library during normal opening hours. These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
